Loving your Self: Exercise 8.8

This exercise will be for people who find themselves not knowing what to do next on their path to enhance their spiritual growth.

First, imagine that you’re standing within a square tube of light that starts at the base of your feet and extends upwards beyond your head to include your Divine Soul Being. On the outside of that square tube, imagine a large circular tube of golden light. Then, within the square, and coming up from beneath you, see a beautiful array of starlike lights floating upwards, through you entire body, out through the top of your head and then into the heart of your Divine Soul Being. Once they connect with your Divine Soul Being you’ll want to imagine that these little lights sort of explode into mini fireworks and that these light explosions fall back onto your physical being. These lights are in fact now seeds and take root in your physical being while more lights are continuing to float upwards through the base of the cylinder and square tubes of light and exploding.

Then you can imagine that the light seedlings are beginning to expand in your body and as they expand in parts of your arm and heart and legs and thigh and feet, etc. those parts of your body light up and begin to feel amazing. They begin to feel expanded in the most wonderful ways and you feel as if the cells in your body are being fed a type of cell food that nourishes them and causes them to take on their most Divine form. Then you feel that as this happens and as light fills up your physical being from the bottom you particularly feel more light concentrated around the heart area. And then, when the light begins to fill your mind, you find that it feels absolutely blissful. From the first light seedling that enters your mind you feel as though a light has literally been turned on in your brain. You feel that things that haven’t been flowing before are now flowing, that parts that have never been used before are now being used and that synapses that may have been tired or broken are being healed. You feel as if your mind is full of life and is expanding and your senses are heightened. You feel that your mind has controlled a large part of your human experiences and you can almost feel old memories, old attachments being completely and quickly transmuted into lighter, higher energy by these beautiful light seedlings that have taken root and are currently sprouting in your brain.

Before you know it, your brain is full of these lights seedlings and your entire physical being is full of light. As light continues to pour into your body it radiates and shoots upwards, further solidifying your connection to the Divine and then shoots outwards to all that is in your world. This is wonderful because now you find that you are awake to ideas and thoughts and feelings that you didn’t know before. Things are making sense and information is being assimilated in ways that you previously didn’t imagine. And because your light is radiating outward so powerfully, all those beings that you encounter in your world are benefitting from it just by being in your presence. You are grateful for this learning, this healing and the advances that are taking place in your body. You are even more grateful for having allowed yourself to be of service this way for you are truly a light and a beacon to others and you are of great service to life.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.7

Today’s post will be helpful for people that feel they cannot find their way forward because of fear of the unknown.

See yourself sitting inside of a large egg shaped room that seems very cozy and comfortable and is full of pillows. Look around the room and see that you are entirely enclosed and safe and of course have enough food and beverages but there is nothing that entices you forward. So you sit in your room and you wonder about your life and why you’re here. You find it all rather suffocating even though you have everything you need. One day you notice a ladder that you had never seen before so you look at the ladder and you really contemplate it. You know what it is and that it is a means for exiting this place. Even though it feels safe and comfortable here you think about it again. You give thanks for the fact that you have always been provided for then you decide to climb the ladder. You don’t know where it will lead but you know where you are and you know that the place where you currently are doesn’t seem to do anything for you in the way of igniting your passion to live. You feel that it is what you’re missing so you climb the ladder and when you reach the top there is a little window.

You open the window and look out. You see the sky and are completely blown away. It is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. In fact you had no idea where this egg was situated because you had been inside for so long and now you are so grateful that you decided to leave. You look out around the surface of the egg shaped room and you see that there are stairs that lead out of the window and down to the nearby earth. You decide to walk down the stairs all the while feeling a bit concerned about what is lying ahead but your curiosity and trust are greater than your desire to be safe. Then you wonder, “Is being safe really living, anyway?” You also wonder, “Could I possibly still be safe while I am discovering my life?” As you ask that, a beautiful gold, green and white light descends before you. As it nears earth it begins to take the form of a lovely Angel and she answers, “Why you have only been out of your safety area for a few minutes and you have learned the first, most important lesson which is asking for what you want. The answer is yes – you can still be safe while you continue on your path of discovering life and I will help to protect you. Even if you don’t see me I will always be with you to make sure that you are protected and guided because when you are happy, all of life benefits.” So you thank your lovely Angel and you proceed along your path.

You continue walking forward and then you meet other people. You feel so amazed at seeing them that you say, “Wow. Hello! You’re another being! I haven’t seen a real being in so long.” The people look at you like you’re a bit odd but in their hearts they can sense your light and joy so they begin to have a conversation with you and then they invite you to dinner. As you’re having dinner you think to yourself, “That’s right! I hadn’t even thought about how I was going to eat.” So you ask your lovely Angel to make sure that you’re always provided with lovely, nourishing food and she tells you again that she is grateful that you asked and that she will help you experience that which you’ve asked for. You thank your new friends for the dinner and then go on your way.

As you’re walking, you encounter some other people who are quite friendly and you tell them that you are new here. They say they would love to show you around and you have a wonderful time with them. As you’re walking around seeing the beauties of the area you ask your guides to see to it that you are always shown the loveliest parts of town and that you are always met with such nice people. Again your angel says that because you asked, this will be so.

You decide to take a walk after you’ve had a lovely evening and dinner with them. You notice that you’re a bit tired of walking when you happen to come across someone who has a bicycle that isn’t working right. You decide to try your hand at fixing it and find that you’re able to. The person is so grateful that you fixed their bike that they offer you an older bike they intended to get rid of even though it works just fine. You thank them and then you’re peddling through life. You thank your Angel and ask that you always have an experience of ease as you are moving forward on your path.

You continue along your journey in this way this way - whenever a need arises you ask your Angel or the Universe to provide for you - and before you know it you’re living a wonderfully exciting and satisfying life. You don’t know what is coming up next but you know that you’re provided for and you know that if you need anything along the way that you can ask for it and you will have it in the loveliest most joyful of ways. You thank your Angel and you thank life and you even than the egg. For without it you would not have known the joys of being outside of it or the joys of discovering your life.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.5

Dear Ones,

This exercise will be helpful to people who wish to connect to their Divine Guidance in a clearer way.

First, see yourself standing in front of a full length mirror. Imagine that from your third eye, from your heart and from your solar plexus are three beautiful lights, each corresponding with the color of that chakra, extending forward, through the mirror and connecting with your reflection. This reflection represents your own view and imaging of your Self, including your personality.

As this light connects with your reflection, you are to see your reflection filling with these lights and becoming, instead of a swirl of the previously mentioned colors, a beautiful golden light. And as you imagine this light expanding, imagine that this light also explodes upwards into a beautiful column of light that connects to your Divine Soul Being. Within this column of light you can imagine many long tubes of light, almost like fiber optics, making up this column. Each tube is a two-way pathway for information from your Source of Divine Guidance to you.

As you are doing this, know that you are opening new pathways to the Divine and that you are forever connected with information from your Divine Source in a way that you did not previously allow, even though it was accessible to you. So now, whenever you feel that you would like to connect with your divinity, in a way that allows for clarity and increasing trust so that you can move forward with confidence in your path, you have simply to do this exercise and give thanks for the expanding love, light, clarity and trust in your life.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.4

Yes Dear Ones,

The first thing to do is to see yourself standing on a snow covered mountain on a clear, crisp, sunny day. You look above and see that you are not quite at the top even though you were just there and you are currently on your way down. You look ahead and there are many slopes, ridges and other things that you have seen before that can make the journey more fun although by looking at them you might think that they are a bit frightening. Then you start to ski down the slopes and you encounter the first bump. As you sail over it you find that it is a bit of a thrill and then you encounter a swift turn and you feel the whoosh of the energy. Then you see a tree ahead and you glide around it as if it were nothing. You really feel in the flow of things. You feel as if this the way life should be even when you are moving quite fast. You are in the flow and as obstacles appear you don’t slow your momentum at all - you approach them, accept them, experience them and then move on to the next one. You notice this is because you are not resisting them. You are not asking, "Why is there a tree in the middle of my path?" because you know that the tree is exactly where it is supposed to be. When you don’t resist a thing, when you accept a thing as having been put in your life for a reason and you know that you are on a divinely guided path you find that your journey can be like a game. You see the tree, you don’t panic, you accept the tree, you swiftly move around the tree and you continue the ride.

You have the thought, “Wow! My life CAN be like this. I can remind myself that I am safe and that the Universe provides for me. I can see things that previously may have felt large or scary but I can continue to move toward them knowing that they have been put here for a reason. No extra emotions, just an awareness and appreciation and a being-in-the-moment-with-extreme-awareness so I can be present enough in the situation to enjoy it, learn from it and grow." And then You realize that when you don’t resist things, no matter how many bumps and turns there are, your life can be smooth. When you are questioning the "whys" of everything in your life you find that you miss the point of the entire ride which is one of enjoyment and ease, of effortlessness and thrills, of clarity and understanding and fun. You vow to remember to think of this lovely ski ride whenever you encounter an obstacle in life and that you can ask for the Universe to assist you with whatever bumps may appear.

Afterwards when you arrive at the bottom and turn around to look back up the mountain you see something odd about the underside of those seeming challenges (bumps and rocks and trees). They are all sparkling and you notice that they weren't rocks, or bumps at all - they were huge, radiant diamonds that were helping shape yours into a beautiful, magical and rich journey.

Loving your Self: Exercise 8.3

So today’s exercise will help people feel more connected to their divinity and to express this feeling for the majority of the time.

The first thing to do is to imagine yourself comfortable at home. Look around yourself and imagine that behind everything you see is a radiant, white light - like at a movie theatre when there is nothing on the screen. Then imagine that the things you are looking at are smiling at you. They are alive and happy and are just pretending to be things but are really a lovely type of consciousness that has agreed to play a specific role during your lifetime to help you achieve a certain degree of mastery while you are having this physical experience. Then you are to go to a vase or a book or anything that you love and/or find frequently in your surroundings and pick it up. When you look at it you say to yourself, “I do not see the illusion. I see the truth.” And then, while in your hands, this book turns into the loveliest being of love and laughter and smiles and giggles. You begin to giggle with it as if there is a joke that has finally made itself known.

Then you notice a stool. Even though you see the shape of the stool it is as if you also see the being whose consciousness is supporting the existence of the stool on the physical plane. It is bowing to you, happy to be of service so you bow to this being in return. Then you gaze around and everything looks different. It is as if you are seeing the truth behind all things because they are no longer as they appear. It is as if a great mask has been covering the true nature of things in your life but this illusion no longer satisfies you. For example, it is no longer enough for you to see just a stool; you desire to see the nature of the beings that are adding to all the beings representing support in your life. You then think of a friend and feel such great amounts of love. You get the impression that this person is just one of many who have agreed to assist you in this lifetime. You even have the feeling that there has only, always been one Being of love who has taken on many forms in your life, even at the same time, to be able to radiate such great amounts of love to you. You realize that you are completely surrounded by love and your entire life changes in one moment.

You feel as if you are completely connected to the truth of all of life because the illusion is unreal and you are now aware of it. However, the illusion has fed you for a while and you are grateful for that. It has brought you to this place of choice - of easy, effortless, love filled choice. You choose to continue to see the truth and you know your life will never be the same. You now have an amazing mastery of life because you know the truth that despite appearances, everyone and everything in your life is here to love and support you and that you are here to love and support everyone else as well. And because you are one with all things, by loving and supporting yourself you are able to fulfill your end of this loving requirement.

You take a seat in your home and are filled with wonder and gratitude for the fact that you and your Divinity are one. You know that by seeing and continuing to see the truth, your perspective is Divine and that sourcing all of your actions from this perspective is an act of Divinity. With this lovely realization, you and all things are quite at peace.

We love you dearly, Dear Ones. And you have probably figured out that this is not just a visualization. This is the true nature of things. You are Divine. It is time to know this.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.2

Yes Dear Ones,

Today's exercise will be good for people that would like help deciding which activity to partake in next in their lives.

First, draw a line down the middle of a sheet of paper. On the left side of the paper you should write why you want to do a particular thing and on the right side of the paper you should write the reasons you don't want to do the things that are on your plate. You can create a sheet of paper like this for each particular project on your plate.

You should then cross out the side that seems to be less convincing and make a decision based soley on that point. After the decision has been made, look at the sheet again and see how you feel about that decision. If the feelings are of joy or above you should stick with that decision and if the feelings are neutral or below you should change your selection.

The reasoning behind this is that you may think that you want to do things for particular reasons but We look at things as for your higest good at the current time in your life. If you make a decision based on feelings you will always be guided to where it is that you need to go next for your highest good. Sometimes in order to do that it helps to get clear about your mind's view point so you can look at it objectively and then get to the feeling place. That is why it is good to first elimitate the side with the weaker intellectual argument, then look at the result and then go with the instantaneous feeling that it inspires within you.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.1

So this exercise will be good for people when they feel that all hope is lost.

Draw a picture of yourself (a stick figure is fine) on the left side of a sheet of paper. To the right of that image draw what you imagine a horizontally-lying tunnel to look like and on the other side of the tunnel draw a heart with lines radiating out from it like a sun. Underneath this image you should write, “I am a Divine Being having a human experience. Whatever I am doing now is something that I decided, before I incarnated in this lifetime, would be for my highest good and of the highest assistance for all others on Earth at this time. I take great joy in knowing this and remind myself of this truth daily. I also give thanks that I now know this as truth and not just as intellectual information. So be it.” And of course, Dear Ones, you should draw the picture of yourself with a smile on your face.

So now that you have this paper, you should put it beside your bed or if you’d like you can make more than one copy of it and place it in several places so you can easily look at it in the mornings, in the evenings and throughout the day. In fact, you can create a little book and call it, “The Angel’s Guide to Lifting my Spirits.” This can be the first image that you put in your book so that when you feel down and as if there’s no hope, you can look at it and you’ll be reminded that you are exactly where you need to be so that you will have the most divine experience on earth, learn what you came here to learn and be of greatest assistance to all of life!
