Loving your Self: Exercise 8.3

So today’s exercise will help people feel more connected to their divinity and to express this feeling for the majority of the time.

The first thing to do is to imagine yourself comfortable at home. Look around yourself and imagine that behind everything you see is a radiant, white light - like at a movie theatre when there is nothing on the screen. Then imagine that the things you are looking at are smiling at you. They are alive and happy and are just pretending to be things but are really a lovely type of consciousness that has agreed to play a specific role during your lifetime to help you achieve a certain degree of mastery while you are having this physical experience. Then you are to go to a vase or a book or anything that you love and/or find frequently in your surroundings and pick it up. When you look at it you say to yourself, “I do not see the illusion. I see the truth.” And then, while in your hands, this book turns into the loveliest being of love and laughter and smiles and giggles. You begin to giggle with it as if there is a joke that has finally made itself known.

Then you notice a stool. Even though you see the shape of the stool it is as if you also see the being whose consciousness is supporting the existence of the stool on the physical plane. It is bowing to you, happy to be of service so you bow to this being in return. Then you gaze around and everything looks different. It is as if you are seeing the truth behind all things because they are no longer as they appear. It is as if a great mask has been covering the true nature of things in your life but this illusion no longer satisfies you. For example, it is no longer enough for you to see just a stool; you desire to see the nature of the beings that are adding to all the beings representing support in your life. You then think of a friend and feel such great amounts of love. You get the impression that this person is just one of many who have agreed to assist you in this lifetime. You even have the feeling that there has only, always been one Being of love who has taken on many forms in your life, even at the same time, to be able to radiate such great amounts of love to you. You realize that you are completely surrounded by love and your entire life changes in one moment.

You feel as if you are completely connected to the truth of all of life because the illusion is unreal and you are now aware of it. However, the illusion has fed you for a while and you are grateful for that. It has brought you to this place of choice - of easy, effortless, love filled choice. You choose to continue to see the truth and you know your life will never be the same. You now have an amazing mastery of life because you know the truth that despite appearances, everyone and everything in your life is here to love and support you and that you are here to love and support everyone else as well. And because you are one with all things, by loving and supporting yourself you are able to fulfill your end of this loving requirement.

You take a seat in your home and are filled with wonder and gratitude for the fact that you and your Divinity are one. You know that by seeing and continuing to see the truth, your perspective is Divine and that sourcing all of your actions from this perspective is an act of Divinity. With this lovely realization, you and all things are quite at peace.

We love you dearly, Dear Ones. And you have probably figured out that this is not just a visualization. This is the true nature of things. You are Divine. It is time to know this.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.2

Yes Dear Ones,

Today's exercise will be good for people that would like help deciding which activity to partake in next in their lives.

First, draw a line down the middle of a sheet of paper. On the left side of the paper you should write why you want to do a particular thing and on the right side of the paper you should write the reasons you don't want to do the things that are on your plate. You can create a sheet of paper like this for each particular project on your plate.

You should then cross out the side that seems to be less convincing and make a decision based soley on that point. After the decision has been made, look at the sheet again and see how you feel about that decision. If the feelings are of joy or above you should stick with that decision and if the feelings are neutral or below you should change your selection.

The reasoning behind this is that you may think that you want to do things for particular reasons but We look at things as for your higest good at the current time in your life. If you make a decision based on feelings you will always be guided to where it is that you need to go next for your highest good. Sometimes in order to do that it helps to get clear about your mind's view point so you can look at it objectively and then get to the feeling place. That is why it is good to first elimitate the side with the weaker intellectual argument, then look at the result and then go with the instantaneous feeling that it inspires within you.

Loving Your Self: Exercise 8.1

So this exercise will be good for people when they feel that all hope is lost.

Draw a picture of yourself (a stick figure is fine) on the left side of a sheet of paper. To the right of that image draw what you imagine a horizontally-lying tunnel to look like and on the other side of the tunnel draw a heart with lines radiating out from it like a sun. Underneath this image you should write, “I am a Divine Being having a human experience. Whatever I am doing now is something that I decided, before I incarnated in this lifetime, would be for my highest good and of the highest assistance for all others on Earth at this time. I take great joy in knowing this and remind myself of this truth daily. I also give thanks that I now know this as truth and not just as intellectual information. So be it.” And of course, Dear Ones, you should draw the picture of yourself with a smile on your face.

So now that you have this paper, you should put it beside your bed or if you’d like you can make more than one copy of it and place it in several places so you can easily look at it in the mornings, in the evenings and throughout the day. In fact, you can create a little book and call it, “The Angel’s Guide to Lifting my Spirits.” This can be the first image that you put in your book so that when you feel down and as if there’s no hope, you can look at it and you’ll be reminded that you are exactly where you need to be so that you will have the most divine experience on earth, learn what you came here to learn and be of greatest assistance to all of life!

Divine Perspective: Exercize 7.1

So Yes Dear Ones,

This exercise will be good for people who wish to see their current situations in a way that is helpful for them.

First, see yourself outside standing within a large, absolutely translucent ball of light. You can see everything around you easily because it is as clear as glass. This ball seems to move with you wherever you go - when you walk outside, when you’re at home, when you sleep and somehow it always stays intact. Recently as you are going through your daily life, you notice that light comes through less and less clearly and that the glass is beginning to fog up. This ball is permanently set in place so there is no real way for you to see what is in front of you. You know that many things surround you but now you can’t see them at all. So what do you do? You stop. You don’t know how to proceed because you can’t see anything. You just sit there out of fear because you are not sure what is happening and you surely do not know how to maneuver safely without vision.

Then you have an idea! You thankfully remember that you are connected to some lovely, divine beings that may have a greater perspective than you. You visualize shooting up a beautiful beam of light that goes through this glasslike ball and connects you securely with your Divine Soul Being. As you think about this light, as you give energy and attention to it, you find that it grows stronger. You begin to feel more empowered even though you still cannot see in front of you, above you or behind you. As you stay in this beautifully grateful place you begin to feel that you have an expanded view and as if your eyes can sense what’s around you even though the clarity of the glass is still extremely low. You feel this so strongly that you decide to stand up and walk. Suddenly you sense that your home is nearby so you walk forward and extend your hand where you think the doorknob might be and, in fact, it is there. You feel amazed and in that moment a loving burst of light flows from you directly to your Soul Being and seems to enhance your trust in this connection. You open the door and walk to where you think the kitchen might be. You decide to go to the fridge to get some water and when you extend your hand you find that the fridge is exactly where you thought it would be. You feel another joyful burst of love and light that again enhances your trust in this Divine Presence and its ability to help you “see” without seeing.

Finally you decide to walk out the back door and into your garden. You find the door where you expect it to be, you go outside and you kneel on the ground to give thanks to your Guidance for being so accurate. You decide that you will always trust this type of “seeing” over anything that you actually view in the world around you. As you do that, not only does the glass around you become clear, it actually disappears. In doing so, you are revealed a world that looks the same in some respects but is more vibrant and magnificent than you ever thought possible. You wonder why this is so you ask your Divine Presence. It says to you, “Dear One, because you have chosen to “see” with your real eyes and allow yourself to be Divinely Guided in all endeavors, the world has decided to show its true self to you. This world and all in it are yours and when you decide to look with your true senses, it will be revealed to you in ways that you never imagined.”
