Divine Love: Exercise 6.5

Yes Dear Ones,

Today’s exercise will be for people who desire to open their heart and trust a bit more.

First, see yourself standing outside in the rain with an umbrella. You are dry but you look around and see that there are many other people getting wet because they don’t have umbrellas. They wonder what to do and so you call to someone that is standing near you and offer some space under yours. They fit under the umbrella and you’re very surprised at that because the umbrella is quite small. You call to some others standing nearby in the rain and you tell them that there seems to be a bit of room left and so they run under your umbrella and they miraculously seem to fit. You feel grateful for this because you truly don’t want people to get wet. There doesn’t seem to be any real cover for a distance so you are glad to be able to be of service. Then a few others have seen that there is room under your umbrella so they run to you and ask if they can fit. You say, “Of Course,” because you know in your heart that as long as there is room you will offer that space to anyone who needs it and somehow they also manage to fit with still a little room left underneath this beautiful umbrella that would normally fit only one person.

Then you see two more people with a little girl who are huddled near a wall and you call to them to come over to your umbrella. They run over and they fit, too and everyone is smiling and saying that they don’t believe that they can all fit under your umbrella. And then two more people run over and as they do, you look up and see that your umbrella is expanding as you look at it. And for a second you can see that your Beloved Soul Being who resides above you is smiling and winking at you and you feel so loved and protected. Then you lovingly and easily yell at others that are caught in the rain to come under your umbrella and everyone fits and has the best time because they are all amazed at what is happening. One of the people turns to you and smiles warmly and says, “You must have a very lovely heart.” You ask why and the person says, “Well, as far as I know, when your desire is great the Universe will always conspire to assist you and when you desire so strongly for others, the universe will never desert you. It will always accommodate your loving request so that you are able to do what it is you desire to do without your even knowing exactly how to do it. You simply had to have the desire to be of service and the Universe provided the how.” You smile at the person and say thank you as the others around you begin to smile and applaud the girl with the Beautiful Heart and the Magic Umbrella of Love.

Divine Love: Exercise 6.4

So Yes Dear Ones,

Today’s exercise will be good for people who desire to connect more but are unable to do it in a consistent way.

Part 1: The first thing to do is to get a notebook and pen and write down several things that make you happy. Then, make a list of as many things as you can think of that you would like to experience in this lifetime. Finally, briefly write about how you would feel and how your life might be different if you don’t achieve these things. Eg: Will you feel sad, frustrated, free, etc. If you'd like, you can sage and then discard the paper and move to Part 2.

Part 2: Then on another page you are to draw a large circle with yourself in the middle. You are smiling and looking upwards. Then on the outside of the circle you can draw many little stars. These stars are to represent all the possibilities of life experiences that exist for you. You can draw as many stars as you can fit on the page and within the circle you are to write the following thing, “I know that the things I would like to experience are just a drop in the ocean of all things that are possible for me and now I desire to experience all of the greatness that life has for me. In order to do that, I know that I must become one with Life. I am willing to release fear or at least relegate it to its place of being of lesser value than anything else I desire and know that to become all of the things that I would like, I must connect with the source of these things. For when I do that, I have access to so much more than if I focus on any particular thing. I desire for this process to be easy and fun and I give thanks that I am able to truly enjoy this entire process.” And then on the back of the page you are to draw a large circle with a star in the center. Underneath you are to write, “I AM one with God and I allow myself to experience this truth with ease, joy, gratitude, harmony and excitement.”

Then you can hang this up by a mirror or somewhere that you will see it each day and the energy of this image will help make it easy for you to follow your divine guidance and it will also make that guidance come to you in a much more joyful way. When you see this image by the mirror it will also reinforce the truth that you are one with God. You can have either side of the image facing you and Part 1 was just to guide you to the place of being less attached to your dreams.

Divine Love: Exercise 6.3

So Yes Dear Ones,

This exercise will be good for people that tend to not follow their inner guidance when it presents itself. It will help them be able to trust more.

First, see yourself surrounded by a large moat. You are on a small, vacant island and you can easily see the beautiful shore on the other side of the water. You want to cross but you look at the moat in front of you and don’t trust that you will be able to cross safely even though you suddenly have the feeling that you will be able to. You approach the water to get a closer look. The water in fact does look very deep and you are unsure of crossing it even through your internal guidance very clearly said “Simply walk across the moat and you will be fine.” You look at the water and think, “No way, that’s crazy! It’s deep and I’ll fall in the moment I start to walk across. Um…thanks Guidance but I’m sure that I can find a better way.”

So you walk around your little island, which doesn’t take too long to do, and you see that there are no bridges and there is no real way across other than to walk or swim across. You really don’t want to swim because you are scared of what might be kept in the moat in order to protect the landowners from invaders. Also, you have never succesfully walked across water. So you sit there for a while longer and realize, “OK. There is no way for me to get to the other side other than to directly cross the moat . There is no one on the other side whose attention I can get to send me the boat that is moored on the other side so I will simply have to trust my guidance and walk across.” So you say, “OK God, I am willing to let you lead me to the other side.”

You begin to walk into the water and your shoes get a bit wet but nothing else. As you continue forward, you find that your shoes stay wet but that the water level does not go higher than that. Soon you are literally halfway across the moat and you say, “God, how can this be? I looked in and I saw that the water was very deep and dark and even scary yet I am practically walking on top of the water.” You continue to walk across the moat in this very open and grateful state and as you reach the other side, you turn around and see what you could not see from the other side. There was a narrow, practically invisible, barely covered sandbar under that section of the lake so that even though the water looked deep, it was no deeper than four inches.

When you decided to trust your inner guidance, It placed you exactly where you needed to be so that you would cross safely along the sandbar. You look up and hear a beautiful voice say to you, “Dear One, I Am always with you and I Am always here to guide you. I understand that it will be difficult to trust me sometimes, because after all you cannot see me...but you can feel me. And the more you trust that inner guidance whenver you feel it, the greater your trust in Me and that connection will grow.”

Divine Love: Exercise 6.2

Yes Dear Ones,

This will be good for people who seem to have a lot on their shoulders and often don’t know how to proceed.

Imagine yourself outside on a beautiful day. You look around and see a beautiful road, an enticing forest, some playground swings and a little stream all of which seem to be calling to you equally. But instead of feeling joyful at all of the prospects on your plate you seem to feel undecided and stuck. You don’t know which one to do first and that sort of upsets you. There were times before when you would have easily chosen one over the others or would not have cared about which one you chose. But whatever the reason, you only feel that this is not the most fun place to be in.

You suddenly feel yourself surrounded by a loving, white light so you turn around and see a beautiful angel. He calls you toward him, smiles and says to you, “Dear One, do you know what this is? You are in the middle of so much love that you don’t know what to let allow itself to love you first. Should you let the stream lull you to frolic by its side, should you let the swing sway you back and forth into a peaceful daze, should you walk down the road and see where it leads because the horizon is so beautiful or should you let the forest tease you with its beautiful foot paths and lovely trees?” Then you look at your angel with a question on your face implying that you don’t understand.

Your angel looks at you and says, “Dear One, whenever you are in such a space it may feel overwhelming at times but that is really just a place where you have asked for many things to happen and you just happen to be an energetic match for all of them at the same time. In such a place it really doesn’t matter which one you start with but the fact that you’re not taking action causes you to create an energy state that is undesirable. The longer you’re in that place, the sooner you will no longer be a match for these wonderful things. It is good to know that as long as you're an energetic match, and whatever you decide to do first, the others will happily wait for you to give them your loving attention. And if you’d like more guidance you can always ask us. But the truth is that your perception plays a huge role in this process so look at this as the wonderful gift that it is and you will find that it is easy to move forward. It is simply like walking into your closet and picking an outfit to wear today. You can wear an entirely different outfit tomorrow if you desire and there is no need to be attached to either one. If you are going to be attached to anything, let it simply be to the fact that you will pick something that you like and that you will enjoy while you are wearing it."
